The Tower House B&B Thomastown Kilkenny,  is owned & operated by the Hennessy family for the past 30 years. Award-winning Chef Trisha delivers top-class cuisine. Breakfast, which offers an array of mouth-watering dishes, are included in your stay.
 
The Tower House B&B sits on a site dating back to the 12th Century, making it one of the oldest Tower Houses in Ireland today. Boasting a magnificent Castle room which includes a murder hole & a garderobe. To the rear of The Tower House, modern guest accommodation is available with en suite rooms, wifi, TV, hairdryers, electric blankets, tea & coffee facilities with homemade biscuits. The deluxe double room & the deluxe double & single room are on the upper floor which has spectacular views overlooking the River Nore. The remaining bedrooms are on the ground floor enjoy the peaceful setting that befits a medieval courtyard. Drifting through the famous ‘Red Door’ at the bottom of the courtyard will bring you onto the private riverbank where you can relax & enjoy the world flowing by. Private car park available.

The famous Mount Juliet estate lies on the edge of the town with its Michelin star restaurant and a  Jack Nicklaus championship golf course. We are 16 km from the Kilkenny City, 29km from Waterford, 56 km from Wexford and 1.5 hours drive from Dublin Airport and Rosslare Ferry. Waterford Airport is 33.8 km from the property.
